Our website has been produced as a project for our History 483 class. Our team consists of Ethan Wong, Jake Cham, Anabelle Yee, Eric Chan, and Joseph Santos. The project aims to look deeper into how Asians are portrayed in media. We assess both traditional means like film, television, music, and modern channels like social media, and Youtube.
In conducting interviews with various Asians in the respective industries, we hoped to gain insight into the industries themselves, the roles of Asians in these industries, the stereotypes of Asians, Asian culture content, and the direction in which each of these industries is heading.
